Who we are
Care-O-Safe was founded during the pandemic, as an effort to supply sanitary pads to women who had no access to them. In the course of that work, a far deeper problem became clear. In tribal communities, women were relying on leaves and mud during menstruation, because no alternative was available.
The gap was never one of supply alone. It was one of awareness, of reach into communities that are routinely overlooked, and of products priced so that women can continue to afford them. Care-O-Safe was built to close that gap. We design and manufacture reusable menstrual products, made by women, for women, and available to women in cities and villages alike.

One reusable pad replaces hundreds of disposables. We use sustainable materials and keep manufacturing lean to hold the carbon footprint down.

We run awareness sessions on menstrual health and hygiene. Breaking the silence around periods is as much of the work as making the products.
